Firefighters, by virtue of their courageous work, are exposed to environments and conditions that significantly increase their susceptibility to various types of cancers. Recognizing this, Firefighters Fight Together is committed to shedding light on the shadow that cancer casts over our heroes. Our goal is not only to provide critical education on the disease and its treatments but also to facilitate early detection through comprehensive cancer screening methods including Colonoscopies, Life Scans, PET Scans, Mammograms, and Essential Bloodwork.
The reality of cancer is a daunting journey, one that no individual should navigate alone. To this end, we extend our support to firefighters battling cancer, ensuring they have access to necessary resources ranging from transportation to mental health services. By fostering a community of care and support, we aim to alleviate the burdens of their cancer journey, allowing them to focus on healing and recovery.
Firefighters Fight Together, is an initiative born from the shared struggles and bravery of those who dedicate their lives to protecting ours.

How we're making a difference.
Support for Firefighters with Cancer
-Provide financial assistance for treatments, travel, and housing.
-Offer family support services, including counseling and educational resources about cancer treatment.
Proactive Cancer Detection and Prevention
-Fund and facilitate early detection screening programs such as colonoscopies, life scans, PET scans, mammograms & bloodwork.
-Promote health and wellness initiatives to reduce cancer risk among firefighters.
Legislative Advocacy
-Campaign to amend current laws that restrict retired or non-insured firefighters from receiving necessary cancer treatment.
-Seek grants to support these legislative changes and raise public awareness about the issue.

We are a newly established foundation dedicated to supporting firefighters in need. At this time, our resources are limited, and we may not be able to assist everyone immediately. However, with the generous support of the public and our community, we are committed to raising the necessary funds to achieve our goal of helping all eligible firefighters in the future.
